Hurstbourne Christian Church actively collaborates with three nonprofit organizations in the Louisville area, channeling our collective efforts toward making a meaningful impact and empowering these community groups. Our commitment goes beyond merely providing financial support; we genuinely strive to be tangible agents of change in God's service, fostering relationships and extending our hands to serve those in need.

Our current outreach partners include

Eastern Area Community Ministries

During the month of September, we stock their food pantry, and every year, we eagerly join their Christmas drive to support families in the eastern part of Louisville. Through our involvement, we help provide Christmas gifts to over 100 families, ensuring a brighter holiday season for those in need.

La Casita Center

We have recently forged a partnership with La Casita Center, an organization dedicated to serving the Spanish-speaking community in Louisville, Kentucky. Our collaboration includes a forthcoming resource day where a substantial group of our church members will visit their facility to assist with sorting clothes and serving lunch to over 200 families. We are enthusiastic about the opportunities this partnership holds.

Lowe/Bowen Elementary School

In partnership with Lowe/Bowen Elementary School, we extend our unwavering support to students who rely on free or reduced lunch programs by providing essential supplies that are crucial for their academic success. This ongoing commitment involves thoughtfully furnishing school supplies at the beginning of each school year and eagerly preparing for the holiday season, when we'll be joyfully gifting Christmas presents to students in December to ensure they feel valued and appreciated.
