Coty Taylor

Coty Taylor was born in Frankfort, KY. He obtained his Bachelor's of Music Education at the University of Kentucky and his Master's of Music Education at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where he also held a position as an Associate Instructor. His master's thesis, Playing Music: A Curricular Outline for Learning Music Through Play was defended and published in the Summer of 2021. Coty maintains an active gigging schedule throughout central Kentucky as a jazz pianist and french hornist. Coty and his wife, Michele, relocated to Louisville in 2021 after being hired to teach music for Jefferson County Public Schools.
